I am a teacher at heart! When I was in my early 20’s after I graduated from college, I was still searching for my passion and true calling. Originally, I majored in communications and planned to pursue a career in writing or public relations. I ended up working for a bank, and then sales for a school fundraising company and then took another hard left to pursue interior design. There definitely was a need to combine my creativity with my daily work in some capacity.

I then took yet another turn and started working in outside sales for a school fundraising company. This still didn’t fulfill my teacher instincts and finally I went back to school to get my teaching credential and started teach children in elementary school. I definitely was able to bring my skill set of teaching and combine it with my creativity. I have been teaching for 29 years. I have spent the past 10 years or so teaching mindfulness and heart connection to my students in class through a container for social emotional learning and wellness called The Heart Centered Classroom. My work with children has been one of the most sacred acts of service I have embarked on in my life and that includes my own children. As a bridgeworker on this Earth it has helped me grow through so many soul lessons and it is truly a privilege to work with these precious souls.

After my awakening, I began to draw upon much inner wisdom and now teach my healing clients and students of spirituality all that I have learned on this journey. I became a Reiki Master Teacher, and received certifications in crystal healing, yoga, astrology, meditation, shamanic healing, and ayurveda. All the while knowing there are not enough books or classes to teach what the soul already knows.

Having experienced many dark night of the soul moments on this path, I have integrated many soul lessons and it is a pleasure to share wisdom with others who are in need of support. I know I am here to light the way for others. Something I really needed on my own path. I have had opportunities to teach at different events and festivals in my local community and have been a collaborative author in books by Radhaa Publishing House. I have published a children’s book called Animal Magic which is a foundational teaching tool I use in my own classroom. Using my voice is one of my greatest assets in healing and I am pleased to be able to teach and share knowledge in this way. I look forward to sharing some of what I have learned along the way and hope it aids you in your own spiritual growth and learning.
